Vicenzaoro Takes the Pulse of Jewelry

Every year in January, Vicenzaoro sets the stage for the upcoming year's trends in the jewelry industry.

With more than 1300 exhibitors representing the entire value chain of the jewelry sector, from gemstone suppliers to renowned houses, independent designers, goldsmiths, vintage watches and jewelry, machinery and tools, all the way to packaging, the recently concluded Vicenzaoro edition once again establishes this exhibition as a strategic hub for the international jewelry industry. While the vast majority of exhibitors are still Italian, 60% of the attendance was represented by international visitors from 130 countries, with the United States leading the way, followed by professionals from the United Kingdom, India and Germany. In total, more than 560 buyers traversed the vast aisles of the exhibition between January 16th and 20th. /public-objects/00d29996-3b9f-4c24-8b84-947187a86985-2c42e49b-a550-4932-b7aa-90348de7e56f-b0d983fa-105e-442e-9c54-556693a3b0f3-9346f5e1-0779-4b19-928d-146e29faca44-GEM-T%20-%20Photos%20-%20Substack-7.webp Image sélectionnée Vicenzaoro also proves to be a remarkable rendezvous for those seeking to anticipate trends. An abundance of colored stones, highly versatile transformable pieces, intricately crafted hidden details, a regressive pop spirit, and increased flexibility and comfort for jewelry that contours the body like precious fabric, are all trends spotted during the show. Beyond its purely business DNA, the show also aims to highlight excellence. A major novelty of this edition is the very first VO Awards which, according to Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager of jewelry & fashion at Italian Exhibition Group, "considers jewelry not only as a finished product and an aesthetic expression, but also as the synthesis of a system of production processes, technological innovation, sustainability and artisanal know-how. We celebrate the women and men behind each creation, who make this excellence possible, the product as a synthesis of creativity and manufacturing, and Vicenzaoro as a place where skills, sectors and markets meet." Michela Amenduni , Product Marketing & Communication Manager of jewelry & fashion at IEG, adds: "The VO Awards provide a snapshot of the excellence that drives our industry." /public-objects/5b8e1601-610d-4ab6-8118-b1e2cdedf693-479b2813-fac8-40f8-bbfb-99b1b4e222bc-01b61f5f-e47c-47e4-9f8a-39de736c0360-db6632c7-385c-42fb-9fd0-223618f6c703-TRACEY%20ELLISON%20awarding_ALESSIO%20BOSCHI%20%C3%83%C2%82%C3%82%C2%A9%20Vicenzaoroawarded_FIAMMETTA%20BENETTON%20presenter2560.webp Image sélectionnée Winners of the VO Awards 2026 BEST IN ICON – UNIQUE JEWELRY PIECE Alessio Boschi, Jubilee Ring A tribute to the Holy Catholic Year, the ring evokes spiritual renewal through seven doors inspired by the great basilicas of Rome.
