Royal Oak High Jewelry: bold elegance
We knew the Royal Oak on the wrist, this watch with the octagonal bezel punctuated by screws that elevated steel to the rank of precious metal, credited to the famous Gérald Genta, launched in 1972. Here it is reinterpreted in a jeweled version.
Audemars Piguet, a watchmaking manufacturer at its core but boasting a rich jewelry heritage, particularly in the evolution of its craftsmanship, presents a collection of adornments and creations without a single dial. The signature bracelet of the horological icon serves as the starting point: its geometry, its cascading link rhythm, and above all, the alternating satin and polished surfaces that, on the steel of the watch, already mimicked the sparkle of diamond facets. The pieces transpose this vocabulary as is, right down to the clasp, which echoes the famous octagonal bezel of the Royal Oak.
