New Creations at M/G Tasaki

Impossible to overlook, the pearl is trendy, and, above all, it's rebellious! And when it comes to giving it a twist, there's a duo that has been making a strong impression with their jewelry collaborations for over 10 years now.

Introducing Mélanie Georgacopoulos and Tasaki . Together, the designer and the house are shaking up the traditional image of pearls by redefining the contours of this classic jewel, transforming it into a standalone design material. For 2025, the designer and the Japanese house present two new lines, Disc Pearl and Square Leaf, within their M/G Tasaki collection. Disc Pearl embodies lightness, movement. Polished Sakuragold™ discs converse with the roundness of South Sea white pearls. Their radiance is enhanced by a circle of diamonds designed to capture light with every movement. Necklaces, rings, earrings and pendants play with airy volume to float on the skin. With Square Leaf, Mélanie Georgacopoulos brings nature and geometry together. Yellow gold squares of various shapes, as thin as leaves, unfold around freshwater pearls of different sizes. The ensemble exudes a contemporary aesthetic where gold lines and pearl curves balance each other. This series is enriched with new pieces, including a bracelet and two brooches. True to their vision, Mélanie Georgacopoulos and Tasaki present bold, unconventional creations that are entirely in tune with the times. /public-objects/9054b0ae-c002-42ed-af3b-e04d0896e671-5712f86b-1d49-4daa-84ee-8dd91db6adb8-GEM-T%20-%20Photos%20-%20Substack.webp Image sélectionnée
