A new chapter in the diamond value chain
At a time when ethics and social responsibility have never been more closely scrutinized, here's how Angola rose to the challenge.
As the diamond market restructures, ethics are also part of relations between diamond producing countries and dealers. In Angola, which has considerable reserves and is investing in the modernization of its diamond sector, this transformation comes after extensive consolidation of the country’s supply chain. To accompany them in this process, Angolan stakeholders can count on leading figures in the sector. Ravi Bhansali, vice-president of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), a Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) board member and CEO of Rosy Blue NV, contributes his expertise and Rosy Blue’s pioneering experience in CSR. The objective is to strengthen compliance and traceability standards and, by doing so, further integrate responsibility into the mine-to market chain. /public-objects/d0004e8b-dc31-4591-8f8b-cb4383af4abe-4618c3e9-0548-4857-9a40-f90738f0df79-Diamond%20%C3%82%C2%A9ROSY%20BLUE.webp Image sélectionnée
