Jewelry Blossoming at Anna Hu
With the sun shining and temperatures soaring, we yearn for spring! At Anna Hu, the season of beautiful days seems to be well and truly underway with her latest high jewelry collection, where the pieces resemble less of jewels and more of freshly picked flowers.
These new creations unfold across three signature lines: Orchid Minuet, Enchanted Orchid, and Imperial Palace Garden, all centered around the orchid, the house's fetish motif — a symbol of love, harmony and unity in Chinese culture. While the design is spectacular, the interplay of materials is equally so, thanks to the sophistication of the Parisian workshop artisans' hands behind each petal. The titanium chosen to construct Orchid Minuet allows for ample and light volumes, but above all, it becomes a field of experimentation. The flowers bloom on the metal, it's magnificent! With Enchanted Orchid, natural pearls are at the heart of the compositions, encircled by briolette diamonds and brilliant cuts. Then pearls, again, of different sizes, for the ring and earrings of the Imperial Palace Garden. Here, Anna Hu drew inspiration from the lattice windows of Beijing's imperial gardens for these highly graphic creations that are equally admirable from the front as from the back.
