Describe your jewelry box. Ultra-organized, verging on the obsessive. There’s something profoundly reassuring about knowing exactly where each piece is. Is there one piece you always wear, no matter what? Not just one! My wedding ring, obviously. A Courbet necklace with the names of my children, Paul and Gaïa. And my bracelets, each of which has a special significance. There’s the Cartier Love that was a gift for my 25th birthday, the very first bracelet by Le Gramme, which is a friend’s brand, a RedLine that my best friend gave me, and a Birks tennis bracelet with a ruby, my birthstone. And a particular way of wearing them? Stacking, definitely! I love mixing pieces and layering the stories behind them. Jewelry should be put together, like an outfit. Every look should have its own stack, curated to match the day’s mood. Of all your jewelry, which has the biggest emotional charge? My engagement ring, I think. The moment I set eyes on it, I knew it was the one. Every one of my jewels is a talisman. They all come with a story or a memory. I feel they protect me, which may sound strange, I know, but it’s what I believe – like always carrying an image of Saint Charbel with me. Which piece best captures your style? That would have to be my Chanel Coco Crush bangle. It’s everything I like: simple, effective, elegant, and perfect for stacking. The piece you dream of owning? A Compression pendant by César. I’ve been patiently hunting for one for years. Several have come up for auction but there was always some small detail that didn’t click. I know exactly what mine will be like.
