Serendipity unveils its new collection, Là Haut, inspired by the Eiffel Tower.
Serendipity unveiled Là-Haut and we understood the choice of this name when we ascended to the first floor of the Eiffel Tower to discover its latest high jewelry collection. This incredible setting served as much as a muse as it did a showcase for the house. From this encounter with the Iron Lady was born a new, patented gem cut, developed in collaboration with the German lapidaries of Idar-Oberstein: the facets reflect the octagonal symmetry of the Eiffel Tower as seen from the ground, giving the stones a unique brilliance and depth. /public-objects/a3fab950-e112-4a05-bd5c-cb9847bff7b3-2210c819-04e1-409b-9a86-bebed67c0253-DSCF2451.webp Image sélectionnée True to its signature, transformable jewelry, Serendipity has reimagined each adornment as a game of metamorphosis: the tiara becomes a necklace, the brooch splits in two thanks to a system called Double Clip, the necklace reassembles into bracelets... As for the gems, they seem to literally float. Pigeon's Blood rubies are suspended above rock crystal, Colombian emeralds are arranged in lines inspired by the Möbius strip, or translucent jade chained in a succession of circles. The collection also highlights its statement stones. A conch pearl (54.59 carats) converses with two padparadscha sapphires of twilight hues on a lotus leaf thanks to the plique-à-jour enamel technique. An Australian black opal (24.50 carats) reveals its two faces, blue-green on one side, fire red on the other, alongside enamel feathers. Further on, rainbow moonstones from Madagascar slip between bamboo stalks, Sleeping Beauty turquoises punctuate a laurel inspired by the crown of Napoleon I, and mandarin garnets radiate at the heart of a sunflower. The gem enamel, another hallmark of the house, deposits its gradients on the gilded leaves of ginkgo. As for the Double Me ring, reimagined each year since 2017 as a unique piece around the emblematic knot, it now embraces an 18.19 carat yellow sapphire.
