For its new releases, Bucherer Fine Jewellery focuses on the ring, presenting it in two categories: the Toi & Moi and cocktail rings.
Two ways to wear the stone, two temperaments. The Toi & Moi unites two distinct gems on the same ring, without one overshadowing the other. The concept dates back to 1796, when Napoleon proposed to Josephine with two side-by-side pears, a white diamond and a blue sapphire, a principle later followed by Jackie Kennedy's engagement ring. Bucherer offers four new variations, all built on contrast: a Fancy Intense pink diamond in a pear cut facing a white diamond, also pear cut, set in platinum and rose gold; a Fancy Intense yellow diamond responding to another white diamond, both cushion cut; a radiant-cut diamond married to a pear-cut diamond; and finally, a blue sapphire in dialogue with a pear-cut diamond flanked by baguette diamonds, reinventing a contemporary version of Josephine's engagement ring. /public-objects/0d5608c0-e8f6-46bd-a2e6-a20ecb542b50-24a9f477-6c31-4d58-98d7-70ed2cd8319f-1.webp Image sélectionnée The cocktail ring stands alone in its category. Born in the 1920s, during the era of clandestine cocktails due to American prohibition, it asserts itself as a statement piece with generous volume and a prominently featured gemstone. Bucherer cultivates its rebellious spirit, balancing retro elegance with unabashed femininity: it is the ring one chooses for oneself, with no other pretext than an evening to celebrate. This season, Bucherer Fine Jewellery reinvents it in three pieces with delicate pastel tones. The central stones feature a deep blue oval-shaped indicolite (4.11 carats) surrounded by aquamarines and diamonds, a cushion-cut turquoise sapphire (8.53 carats) encircled by sapphires and diamonds, and finally a soft yellow oval-cut sapphire (7.19 carats) highlighted by a myriad of pastel sapphires and diamonds.
