Gucci and Pomellato Co-sign Monili, a Secret Dialogue Between Leather and Light

United by a shared obsession for the perfect gesture, Gucci and Pomellato intersect their expertise here: exceptional leatherwork on one side, finely chiseled goldsmithing on the other. The result? A collection conceived as a hushed conversation, an exchange between leather, gold and diamonds. Monili, which means "jewelry" in Italian, draws from Pomellato's 1984 archives to bring forth soft, almost equestrian, sculptural shapes where the buckle becomes a central motif. Supple necklaces, sinuous bracelets, rigid minaudières with precious handles... the hand-stitched brown or black leather intertwines with white or rose gold, paved with diamonds, in a play of contrasts both tactile and visual. The snow setting intensifies the material effect, while each piece, in its own way, evokes an accessory turned into jewelry, and vice versa.
