Gemmyo revamps its classics

Gemmyo grants itself a new creative freedom by seeking to experiment and explore new territories. With The Variations, the independent house founded by Pauline Laigneau revisits its own classics to let them express themselves in a more expressive register thanks to more generous volumes, a novel style, and different stones. "I have given myself real freedom. I experiment, I divert, I invent directions. This is the creative space where I let my imagination go all the way," summarizes the designer.

The name encapsulates the principle: we retain the silhouette of an iconic design, and then we modify it to reinvent it. The Baby EverBloom ring thus becomes the Canopy Variation, with metal that winds around the finger like a vine. At its heart blooms a round green sapphire, encircled by mint‑colored tourmalines, blue-gray and green sapphires, and diamonds that evoke dewdrops in the early morning. The season changes with the Folia Variation, which reinterprets the ForEverBloom necklace and single earring. Here, autumnal hues take center stage. The single earring follows the curve of the ear with a pear-cut cognac diamond, surrounded by beige and brown diamonds, and the necklace extends the same design around the neck, suggesting leaves carried by the wind in a gradient of champagne, cognac, and chocolate diamonds. Neither classic jewelry nor high jewelry: the Variations stake a claim to a territory all their own; that of pieces precious enough to be admired, yet light and comfortable enough to be worn against the skin every day. /public-objects/042ebb2b-4cd8-4340-b929-e4eeaa2c0df8-16530c8f-8296-4531-9174-7059ed41045e-Gemmyo-Les-Variations.webp Image sélectionnée /public-objects/14177f59-8521-4573-a37e-3cfa227b4ebc-189b3037-6a62-4061-a6ee-d1236138a2b2-GEMMYO-Mono-boucle-et-collier-ForeverBloom-Variation-Folia.webp Image sélectionnée
