Eclettica by Bvlgari, Between Art and High Jewelry
Bulgari delves into a theme dear to its heart: art. The Eclettica collection draws inspiration from the "multifaceted beauty of Rome," fostering a dialogue between architecture, painting, and sculpture with high jewelry and haute horlogerie.
The project is ambitious: more than 150 pieces, including nine exceptional creations named Capolavori — "masterpiece" in Italian — and 15 transformable pieces, a record for the house. The daring pieces, vibrant in color and volume, as well as the creative liberty that Bvlgari allows, seem to be infinite. The Seres Scarf necklace invokes Art Deco and painting in an impressive white gold creation composed of 1,180 elements: a jewel of sapphires and emeralds designed like a scarf. Another necklace, another genre: artistic director Lucia Silvestri fell under the charm of a padparadscha sapphire (26.56 carats) to imagine the Secret Garden necklace. The stone she describes as "extraordinary" is queen. A white gold ring reinterprets the "You & Me" with an emerald and a diamond, while a sculptural Serpenti bracelet majestically showcases a diamond of exceptional clarity and transparency, specially cut for Bvlgari. Far from following a single line, it is indeed eclecticism that imposes itself as the order of the day. And to take this idea to its limit, high jewelry watches are also featured. The collection assembles multiple influences by playing on contrasts of shapes, stones and compositions. Ingenuity, creativity and aesthetic innovation are at their peak.
