The Behind-the-Scenes of Jewelry Making Opens to the Public
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on the upcoming 20th and 21st of September, L'École des Arts Joailliers invites the public to step through the doors of the Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau, this architectural gem from the 18th century nestled on Boulevard Montmartre in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
For its inaugural participation, the institution founded by Van Cleef & Arpels offered a program open to all ages, combining visits, lectures, and workshops. For the younger ones, adapted tours introduced them to the stages of jewelry creation, the gestures and tools of the jewelry trade, before continuing on to the secrets of the hotel that is classified as a historic monument.
